Dr. Roger Firestien, Innovation Consultant – Keynote address at Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation Economic Development Summit, May 2017. Creativity and Innovation isn’t just for corporations. It is for anyone looking to improve their community—whether in business, government, nonprofits, or education. In this presentation, participants experienced ways to become deliberately creativity, so they can turn on their creativity at will instead of waiting for ideas to happen. Following the keynote address, the audience of approximately 100 people generated hundreds of ideas for dealing with community and economic issues. These issues included community revitalization, collaboration across government agencies and managing community affordability and growth.
