To nurture creativity, find your own form of farm therapy.
In an article for CEOWORLD Magazine, I wrote about how finding a personal form of farm therapy creates a period of incubation and ignites creative ideas. For me, that therapy comes on the SK Herefords ranch spending time with a friend and his business partner. But make sure your farm therapy, wherever that may be, contains these three attributes:
- It is a change of pace from your usual activities.
- You can see a tangible result from your actions, so you can feel a sense of accomplishment.
- You don’t have to make decisions as to what to do next.
