Tap into people with whom you usually don’t interact.
One of the most effective ways to get creative is to talk with people with varying backgrounds and interests. It’s not easy and will take you out of your comfort zone, but, as I discuss in an article for StrategyDriven, the best source of new information is from other networks. Find a fresh perspective, engage in Breakthrough Labs, and actively seek out individuals who you might not normally connect with.
